The two vital questions of childhood are “What if…?” and “How come…?” The former is the spark to fantasy, the latter to understanding reality. The warp of one and the weave of the other creates the fabric of existence; what holds it all together are equal amounts of imagination and truth. Everyone in my fiction is a product of my imagination. Everyone in my essays is as real as I could imagine them.
